4. Process characteristics. RO has a strong adaptability to the salt content of raw water.
Since the development and application of RO membrane technology, the production process has been very mature. The imported RO membrane components can operate stably for more than 5 years, and the operating cycle of IEX is greatly affected by the change of original water salt content. In order to extend the operating cycle, a large number of IEX equipment is often needed.
The process covers a large area, and the operation management is not convenient.
5. The water consumption rate of RO is about 97%, that is, 25% of water is consumed as process water, but this water is substantially different from the acid and alkali waste water of IEX. The water is only high in salt content, while the water outside is the same as raw water, which can be used as water for backwashing and boiler ash flushing.
The water consumption rate of IEX is about 85-90%. The water consumption of the process is basically acid-base waste water, which cannot be utilized.
