If scale builds up in the boiler, it is necessary to maintain the set output (working pressure and evaporation) so that only the temperature on the fire side can be increased. Therefore, the thicker the scale, the worse the thermal conductivity, and the higher the temperature on the fire side of the boiler.
2. A lot of waste of fuel
When the boiler is scaled up, in order to maintain the set output of the boiler, it is necessary to increase the temperature of the fire side, thereby increasing two heat losses: one is the heat loss of radiation to the outside; the other is the heat loss of exhaust smoke.
3. Reduce output
When there is scale on the boiler evaporation surface, the heat on the fire side cannot be quickly transferred to the water side, which will reduce the output of the boiler.
4. Increase boiler maintenance
After the boiler plate or pipeline has scale, it is difficult to remove lightly, especially because the scale causes boiler leakage, cracks, breakage, deformation, corrosion and other diseases, which not only damages the boiler, but also consumes a lot of manpower and material resources to repair. In this way, not only the operating cycle is shortened, but also the maintenance cost is increased.
