Application of MBFB membrane for wastewater reuse.

Powder activated carbon and also provides a special surface microbial breeding, the porous adsorption on the surface of a large number of microbial flora, especially the target pollutants as microbial flora of the metabolic substrate;

At the same time, the powder activated carbon adsorption of dissolved oxygen in water body has a strong ability, under the condition of high dissolved oxygen, microorganisms of small molecule organic matter enrichment in the activated carbon surface oxidation decomposition, and then using the ceramic membrane separation system and the water adsorption of the organic matter of powder activated carbon aerosols such as separate, through the cross-flow filtration, sewage treatment, further to the water reuse standard.

The study shows that MBFB can effectively remove ammonia nitrogen, COD and other refractory small molecule toxic organics in water.
