The existing industrial wastewater treatment process route considered electro-flocculation at the beginning of the design, but the electro-flocculation equipment was reduced when it was officially implemented. The existing process route is butterfly centrifuge + electric Fenton, and the centrifuge discharges water. At 2000-5000mg/L, the removal rate of electric Fenton is about 85-90%. It is difficult to treat wastewater stably to reach the standard discharge standard with electric Fenton alone.

Considering that the owner does not want to use the biochemical treatment system, the process and equipment are selected among the physical, chemical and electrochemical equipment. If an electric flocculation device is added behind the butterfly centrifuge, it can improve the rationality of the entire wastewater treatment system, reduce operating costs, and greatly improve the stability of the system's effluent. Since the electro-flocculation dosage is relatively small or no chemicals can be added, it can remove part of the soluble oil, suspended solids and colloidal organics in the wastewater, which can reduce the subsequent operating load and cost of electro-Fenton, so it can To reduce the operating cost of the entire wastewater treatment system. After calculation, after adding electric flocculation, the overall operating cost was reduced by about one-third, and the impact resistance of the overall system was also improved.
